Hey guys! I found a slide that may assist us in our presentation. It has some statistics etc (:

The statistics gave me a better idea of teenagers and social media.

  1. The statistics here are from April 10 2009 so the information here might not be very accurate now since times have changed. So what do you think are the major changes in social networking sites that occurred from 2009 to 2012? (e.g. more cases of cyber bullying)

  2. Personally, I do not think that the times have changed much in these three years. However, there have been an increasing number of social networking site users. Social networking sites have become more and more popular over the years, and have garnered many users. Other than the popularity of social networking sites, nothing much has changed.

  3. But I think the way people now use social differs from the past. In 2009, I think social was still quite a new thing to the world. However, it is very common now, and as it is used almost everyday, people tend to use it more openly. For example, posting pictures (explicit or not) and not really minding what they say. This then leads to the rise of cyber bullying.

  4. Can it be assumed that Social Media has become a very life changing thing?

  5. Oh! And that it took over in a short period of time?
